Airborne To Refund Consumers: Not A Common Cold Cure

Airborne, that was previously advertised as cure and treatment for common cold was not as effective as advertised for curing the common cold. Airborn settlement is reached and the company will issue a refund if you happen to have kept the receipt.

According to CSPI report the makers of Airborne a multivitamin and herbal supplement whose labels and ads falsely claimed that the product cures and prevents colds - will refund money to consumers who bought the product, as part of a $23.3 million class action Airborne settlement agreement.

Airborne will also pay for ads in Better Homes & Gardens, Parade, People, Newsweek, and many other magazines and newspapers instructing consumers how to get Airborne refunds, according to settlement agreement.

A final hearing on the settlement is set for June 16, 2008. Consumers have until Sept. 15, 2008 to submit a claim.
